Coir holds moisture and makes it available to the plant as the roots grip and grab onto the organic coir, and begin grow on the pole.

Stem support

The pole provides tremendous support for the plant and promotes vertical growth. It provides an anchor point for the plant to keep naturally growing upwards.

Our Coir Fibre is specially treated Coconut Shell Fibre.

Totem Clip Rings are easy to put on and used to stake climbing plants around the 50mm Coir Pole. The ‘star’ shape supports the stems while letting them grow, which reduces damage to the stems. Each Pole sold in this listing comes with 2 bonus 50mm plastic Coir Pole Rings to suit totem.
