Orchiata orchid bark is a very HIGH QUALITY substrate made using 100% New Zealand Pinus radiata bark. The bark is collected using sustainable best practice methods from renewable, manmade forests ensuring availability well into the future. Whilst ageing the bark, beneficial micro-organisms are active and any pathogens are taken out.

Orchiata bark is graded to give a uniform and very consistent result that is famous across the world for its durability and longevity.

The unique structure of Orchiata orchid bark gives excellent drainage and aeration for orchid roots, helping to prevent root rot and other issues. With a pH of around 5.5-6.5, the 12-18mm Orchiata orchid bark is ideal for most mature orchids or any orchid that needs a greater AFP. It can be used in a variety of growing conditions, making it a fantastic product for orchid growers.
